Rights

Are accepted, respected, and connected

All children should feel accepted, respected and valued: at home, school, in the community and online. You have a right to feel manaakitanga: kindness, respect and care for others. You have a right to live free from racism and discrimination, have good relationships, and be connected to your culture, language, beliefs and identity including whakapapa and tūrangawaewae.
