How to Apply

Interested in applying to be a member of the Young People's Reference Group?

Applications can be made either online, or, by completing an application form and posting or faxing it into us. Either way, we still need to have hard copies of your references and the parent/guardian permission form.

DEADLINE EXTENDED: Applications close at 5pm on Friday, 27th February 2009.

The Children's Commissioner is grateful to all young people who have already applied to join the Young People's Reference Group. Those applicants will not be disadvantaged by the extension of the deadline. The extended deadline is to provide more young people with the opportunity to apply to the group.

Applicants who have posted, emailed or faxed applications to the Children's Commissioner to date will receive a letter confirming this information. The selection for new members is scheduled for March 2009 and all applicants will be informed of the outcome of their application by mid-March 2009.
